Within our first 5 years of farming I have watched my husband pour his heart and soul into this farm.
It has taken a huge toll on his body. Starting with multiple rounds of shingles from stress, then throwing his back out multiple times, and finally going through a full year of depression
after losing 20 head of cattle to Nitrate poisoning.

I have admired how he has grown in his faith through it all and become a biblical husband & leader for our family.
Now when things go wrong he says, "After I die God won't be asking me about my weaning weights".
Part of my husband's testimony is finding pennies at just the right moment when he needs the reminder
"In God We Trust". I can't tell you how many he's found over the years but it's enough to build a solid faith!
At our church an old farmer told us that he would carry a New Testament Bible in his pocket and
every time something bad happened on the farm he would take it out and read it.
It inspired me to start this ministry and share Bibles with farmers
who need a little extra faith during the hard times.​
